The Bay Six Project is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization. As a neighborhood center, Bay Six is created to be a hub for various community activities that focus on meeting basic, practical needs for people all ages and backgrounds. Our hope is through serving them well, that they will begin to understand their value and worth. Our heart is to help restore individuals and families via community interaction and programs/ projects. We have giveaways throughout the year and have our Brown Bag Diner that serves students an after school meal that is comprised of choices they make from our menu.
Some things we also have available in our location that can be done daily include playing video games, playing board games, using our free Comcast Lift Zone Wi-Fi for homework or job searches as well as hosting special events ranging from live concerts, community cook outs, movie nights , and art classes. In short, Bay Six:Mingo was created to be a positive place in the community with an atmosphere in which anyone and everyone can feel welcome to hang out while having their needs met.
You are seen. You are loved. You are valued.
